Rec and Wellness Center

University of Vermont

The new Recreation and Wellness Center at UVM is the first phase of planned upgrades to the University Athletic Complex to open to the student body. The project includes a new multi-use athletic court (MAC), two fitness studios, and a group spinning room.

These facilities occupy space in the Patrick-Forbush-Gutterson Athletic Complex, which was built in 1963, when the student population was 3,500.  The newly renovated spaces now serve a study population of 13,000, with state-of-the-art amenities promoting health and wellness, and enhancements for club sports.
